Terms of use

1. What mun.kids is

mun.kids ("the site") is an online Model UN course, research library and session tool for high school students and their teachers. It is run by WebNetCom Ltd. ("we", "us"). By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Your account

• Accounts are created by your school, your teacher or us. You log in with a code sent to your email.
• Keep your login codes to yourself, and don't use anyone else's account. Tell your teacher or us if you think someone got into yours.
• Teachers and principals: only add people you're allowed to add, keep their details private, and remove students who leave.
• Schools, teachers or we can remove an account at any time. You can ask us to delete yours through the contact page.

3. Be a good delegate

Model UN is about disagreeing well. On mun.kids, and especially in sessions, please don't:

• bully, harass, threaten or insult anyone, or post hateful content about any group of people;
• share anyone's personal details (addresses, phone numbers, photos) without permission;
• pretend to be someone else, or mess with sessions you're not part of;
• try to break, overload or get around the site's security, or collect information about other users;
• use the site for anything illegal, or for advertising.

Playing a country you disagree with is fine. That's the game. Being cruel to real people isn't. Teachers can remove content, close sessions and ask us to suspend accounts that break these rules.

4. Your work

The speeches, resolutions, position papers and other work you write on mun.kids belong to you. You let us store it and show it to you, your teachers and principal, and, for session work, the people in that session, only so the site can do its job. We don't publish it or use it for anything else.

Photos, videos and certificates. Upload only things you're allowed to share. Principals who post gallery photos, especially public ones, confirm the school has permission from the people shown (for students, from their parents where needed) and that nothing private is visible. We remove anything that breaks these rules, or that someone in it asks us to take down.

5. Our content

The lessons, quizzes, games, texts, illustrations, design and code of mun.kids are © 2026 WebNetCom Ltd.. Teachers and students may use them freely for teaching and learning, including showing them in class and printing pages for students. Please don't copy the site, sell its content or put it on another website without asking us.

Some content belongs to others and is used under their terms:

• Videos are YouTube videos owned by their creators, shown with YouTube's own player.
• Country figures (population, GDP, income group) come from the World Bank's World Development Indicators, used under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
• UN documents and quotes come from the United Nations and are credited where they appear.
• Fonts (Bricolage Grotesque, Caveat, DM Sans) are used under the SIL Open Font License.

6. Names, logos and the UN

mun.kids, the mun.kids logo and our stick-figure delegate "Del" are trademarks of WebNetCom Ltd.. You can mention them to talk about the site, but please don't use them in a way that suggests we run, sponsor or endorse something we don't.

mun.kids is an independent educational project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the United Nations or any of its bodies. "Model United Nations" and "MUN" are common names for the classroom activity. The name and emblem of the United Nations belong to the UN; we don't use the UN emblem.

Other names mentioned on the site, such as YouTube, TikTok, Netflix and the names of real conferences and organisations, belong to their owners and are used only to describe or refer to them.

7. Facts, topics and videos

We check our facts and show when they were checked, but the world moves fast: votes happen, treaties change, leaders change. mun.kids is for learning, not an official source. Before a real conference, check the latest from the sources we link to. Videos and linked sites are made by others; we choose them carefully, but we're not responsible for what they say, and teachers should preview them before class.

8. Keeping the site running

We work hard to keep mun.kids online, fast and correct, but it's provided "as is". We may change features, add or remove lessons, or pause the site for maintenance. If we ever close mun.kids, we'll give schools notice so they can download their data.

9. The legal small print

• To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for anything caused by content we don't control. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection or other laws that can't be excluded.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa handle any dispute. If you live in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and can bring a claim there.
• If part of these terms doesn't hold up legally, the rest still applies.
• We may update these terms. If a change matters, you'll be asked to agree again when you next log in.
